The holder of a $7 million dollar winning Loto 6/49 ticket sold in Magog has finally come forward. Jean Rouillard claimed his winnings Friday after seeing the winning numbers in a newsletter and realizing that they were the numbers he had chosen. He picked up his $7,039,885 million with his brothers.
“The winner says he does not have specific plans for the moment, wanting to take the time to think about how he will use his winnings,” said a Loto-Québec communiqué.
Dépanneur Bergeron, where the winning ticket was purchased, will receive a prize for $70,398, or one per cent of the prize.
