Inspired by the movement Les Incroyables Comestibles, an urban agriculture project found in various locations all around the province, the collective kitchen organization, Les Tabliers en folie, is launching a brand new project in collaboration with citizens of Richmond. Public gardening boxes have been built and distributed throughout the community for people of all ages that love gardening or fresh vegetables. “Gardening is something that gathers people in a community together and also helps to brighten it up the surroundings by enhancing its vitality as well as promoting access to healthy food for citizens,” said Isabelle Forcier, director of the organization. “It is in this spirit that it was initiated.” See full story in the Friday, July 12 edition of The Record.
