The CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS announced on Thursday that the Windsor medical clinic will now be open for appointments on Fridays, following a commitment to extend hours onto the weekends that was made back in December.
The clinic, located at 23, Ambroise-Dearden Street in Windsor, operated as the local Emergency department until mid October, when it was converted into a walk-in clinic as a part of service reor-ganization within the healthcare network. In the December announcement, the CIUSSS committed to opening the clinic on weekends by the end of January based on requests from the elected offi-cials of the Val-Saint-François MRC.
