The Cantonniers de Magog players have much to be proud of from this past Friday night’s game against the Chevaliers in Lévis. The team worked together to achieve a 6-3 victory, putting coach Stéphane Robidas’ team in first place in the general classification of the Quebec U18 AAA Hockey League.
The Cantonniers have 60 points in 29 games, as compared to 58 in 28 games for the Chevaliers.
Looking back at Fridays’ game, the team was trailing 2-0 in the first period on goals scored on the power play by Olivier Dubois and Théo Lemieux. Lyam Jacques halved the lead with just over a minute to go during this period by scoring his ninth goal of the season.
