Transmeda carries out nearly 13,500 trips in the Eastern Townships and covers nearly 400,000 km per year transporting users between health institutions.
Last week the company announced that the first medical electric vehicle in Quebec, able to travel up to 350 km, will join its fleet, carrying users between the health institutions located in Sherbrooke.
“This innovation allows us to reduce our environmental footprint while ensuring unparalleled comfort and quality of service,” Transmeda President Mathieu Demers said in a press release, adding that the inauguration of a new station in Sherbooke will allow the company to ensure the maintenance and safety of vehicles according to the most demanding standards in the industry.
