Kahne Laplume, a 10-year-old Potton resident, has been invited to attend the 2023 Hockey Hall of Fame Future Legends Tournament in Toronto from April 27 to 30.
Laplume has already appeared in a number of well-known tournaments in North America, including the Brick Hockey Invitational Hockey Tournament in Edmonton, where the best 10-year-old hockey players gather to showcase their talent and represent their home province.
According to his father, Pierre-Luc, it was after the tournament in Edmonton that Kahne received the call to join 160 of his peers — forwards, defensemen, and 20 goaltenders — in Toronto this coming spring. He said the tournament begins after organizers conduct a draft.
