The Magog Cantonniers won an important 10-0 victory Friday night against the Collège Charles-Lemoyne Riverains in Sainte-Catherine.
This team victory, combined with a 3-1 loss by the Chateauguay Grenadiers against the Collège Notre-Dame de Rivière-du-Loup Albatros, puts Stéphane Robidas’ protégés high in the Tacks division standings.
In the space of three minutes in the first period, Evan Dépatie (3rd), Éloi Bourdeau (7th) and Éli Baillargeon (7th) gave the Magogois a 3-0 lead.
Jérémie Dumas-Larouche (5th), Charles Poirier (4th) and Lewis Gendron (9th) extended the lead to 6-0 after 40 minutes of play. Dumas-Larouche and Poirier’s goals were scored on a power play.
