Alexander Galt’s Senior boys’ basketball off to Chicoutimi for provincials

By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – After beating the Victoriaville team Tandem/Le Boisé in a convincing 59-31 game two weekends ago, the Alexander Galt Senior boys’ basketball team is preparing for the RSEQ Division II provincials in Chicoutimi this weekend. This is the team’s first admission to the tournament in Piper history. Jarrod Sharman has been coaching this group of players for two years but is now at his seventh year as a basketball coach at Alexander Galt. “We are looking to play our best and will see where that takes us,” he said. “The team is an amazing group of young men and have been a pleasure to coach this year.” See full story in the Wednesday, April 10 edition of The Record.
