The 8th edition of Aube-Lumière Friperie-boutique (second-hand store) closed last Saturday, having raised more than $ 31,500 during the month it was in operation. "I'm always so impressed to see the great dedication and commitment of our volunteers who never count the hours they put in to make such a great success,” said Aube-Lumière Director General Marie Bécette, “I would like to thank each and every one of these people, we are privileged to be able to count on them! " Since 1997, La Maison Aube-Lumière has been welcoming cancer patients at an advanced stage for free end-of-life care. In addition to accommodation, Aube-Lumière provides high quality palliative and end-of-life care and accompanies patients and their loved ones in a caring environment. To carry out its mission, the Maison must raise a million dollars in the community every year. See full story in the Friday, June 1 edition of The Record.
