By 8 a.m. the lineup for the annual garage sale by the Bishop’s and Champlain refugee student sponsorship project curled around the corner of the building, with crowds eager to get the chance to see what deals awaited them inside. Those at the front of the line had been waiting since 5 a.m. and commented that the wait didn’t seem as long this year as in years past. Although the final count was not finished as of this writing, organizers estimated that the sale brought in more than $8,500 for the work of the project throughout the year.
