Work will begin this spring on Phase II of Autoroute 410 (Jacques-O’Bready) to complete the final 4km stretch connecting route 108, Bypassing Lennoxville. The work is expected to be completed and ready for commuters by spring of 2020. The announcement was made on Friday morning by provincial and federal government representatives, outlining the breakdown of funding and how the work will proceed. The total cost of the final segment of highway is estimated at $75 million. Federal funding in the amount of $37.2 million will be provided through the New Building Canada Fund.
