The Caritas Estrie stamp show and sale will be back at the Galeries Quatre-Saisons on Friday and Saturday, April 20 and 21. Caritas volunteers will be on hand on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is designed for all stamp lovers and collectors who will be able to choose from thousands of classified stamps or thematic collections. In addition, Canadian stamp enthusiasts will have the choice through a beautiful assortment of new and used stamps.
Proceeds from the sale will go to developing countries to help children who are malnourished. Thanks to sales in 2017, $12,021 was donated to help children in Lesotho, Benin, Cameroon, South Africa, the Philippines, Peru, and Haiti.
Caritas Estrie reminds the public that it accepts donations of new and used stamps at any time and donated collections can be given a tax receipt equal to the value of the donation.
