The City of Sherbrooke has formally congratulated Sherbrooke natives Kim Boutin and Alex Boisvert-Lacroix on their performances at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games. “Kim Boutin's silver medal and two short track speed skating bronze medals, and Alex Boisvert-Lacroix's long-track speed skating performance, have raised the passion for Sherbrookers following competition in recent days,” a city communiqué reads. Mayor Steve Lussier also chimed in, saying "It is with great pride that I followed the performances of these two admirable athletes.
