BU Caribbean African Students Association fashion warms up Centennial Theatre

For the first time since 2019, the Caribbean African Students Association (CASA) at Bishop’s University will bring a “cultural explosion” to the stage at Centennial Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 4, a fitting introduction to Black History Month, organizer Ruth Michelle Tanguep Youmbi told The Record.
“There will be dance, music, fashion,” Tanguep Youmbi said, “multiple cultures coming together.”
The event, which boasts upwards of 40 models, performers and volunteers, was organized by CASA executive committee members TJ Sweeny (junior President) Nadege Allard (Fashion show coordinator), Damita Melchi (VP Social Media) Abiola Boicel (VP of Finance) and Fabiola Exe (Secretary) and Tanguep Youmbi.
