Submitted by Bishop’s University – Dominic Desmarais, a name familiar to many in the hockey world in Sherbrooke will take the reins of the Bishop’s University women’s hockey program as head coach.
Since 2013, Desmarais has been at the helm of the Harfangs du Triolet hockey program and Hockey Sherbrooke. He was also the head coach of the Champlain Cougars women’s hockey team in 2017.
His resume includes coaching stints in the QJMHL and LHJQ where he was an assistant coach. He continues to be an associate coach with the Team Quebec U-18 women’s team. See full story in the Tuesday, July 3 edition of The Record.
