Dufferin Heights Golf Club has an active youth program which provides young boys and girls in the Stanstead and border area the opportunity to learn and develop their golf skills through a variety of activities.
On Aug. 6, the club hosted a CN Future Links Drive, Chip and Putt Challenge. The event was only one of many events organized by the club this spring and summer to encourage local youngsters to learn and develop an interest in the game of a lifetime. Thanks to generous donations from both the Tillotson Foundation and CN Future Links, the Dufferin program has been able to provide visits for PE classes from local elementary schools in the spring, 7 weekly clinics over the course of the summer, multiple tournaments including BBQ’s and ice cream parties over the course of the summer, all for the minimal cost of $75.
