Ella Dunn and Dylan Knight have been named the Piper athletes of the month for February at Alexander Galt High School. Dunn helped lead the Bantam Girls basketball team to a perfect season in the RSEQ league. The 12 year old point guard protected the ball well, averaged 8 points, 10 assists and 5 steals during the month in which the team played its most important games of the season. They defeated La Ruche and Marie Rivier in close games to secure the regular season banner. Two weeks later they came from behind to win the play off championships and Dunn was instrumental in the comeback as she distributed the ball to all her teammates. The grade 7 student perfects her skills in the ever-popular sports concentration program in which she also sits on the academic honour roll.
