Record Staff – On Sunday, the second day of the Quebec Games in Thetford Mines, most Eastern Townships athletes came through with winning performances. The track and field team ended the day with a four-medal harvest, including a gold medal, and the golf team achieved one of its goals by taking the bronze. In Track and Field, Kasandra Savoie won the gold in the 100 meter hurdles while Elodie Hébert took the silver in the 800 meters. See full story in the Tuesday, July 31 edition of The Record.
