The City of Magog is advising the public that part of Sherbrooke St. will be closed to traffic on Monday, May 7 so that an aging building can be torn down. The section between Saint-Patrice and Principale streets will be closed to traffic during the day for the demolition of the building that housed the old Magog bus terminus. Appropriate signage will be installed indicating detours and signalers will be on site to facilitate circulation. The City plans develop a 60-space municipal parking lot on the site. In case of rain, the work and street closure will be postponed to Tuesday, May 8.
