The Sherbrooke Phoenix hockey team begins its seventh season this Friday, Sept. 28 and Saturday, Sept. 29 with a grand home-opening weekend. For the occasion, the team invited fans to pre-match festivities for all tastes. The team’s seventh season officially began last Friday on the road. After playing two games away, the Phoenix will be back at the Sports Palace on Friday, ready to welcome fans to a whole new season. On Friday, at 7 p.m. Patrick Roy and the Quebec Remparts will be in Sherbrooke for a game presented by the Grande Ménagerie. On Saturday at 4 p.m. former assistant coach of the Oiseaux, Pascal Rhéaume, will be back at the Palais des Sports, but this time behind the Val-d’Or Foreurs bench in a game presented by Desjardins.
