Phoenix take 2-of-3 to close out 2017: Sherbrooke plays Drummondville on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd, to start 2018 at Palais des Sports

The holiday break appears to have served the Sherbrooke Phoenix well. After a brief hiatus in QMJHL action, the Phoenix finished off 2017 with wins over Val-d’Or, 4-1, and Shawinigan, 1-0. The Birds’ loss was at the hands of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, 7-4. Russian forward Yaroslav Alexeyev was the star of the game against the Foreurs scoring a goal and adding two assists in the road victory.
