The cafeteria at Alexander Galt Regional High School was packed with prom fairies supporters on Sunday afternoon. The committee, which helps students in financial difficulty get decked out for a memorable and stress-free prom, has grown in popularity since it was formed, and this year was no exception. Hundreds of community members came to play on Sunday. The variety of games and volume of available prizes was a testament to the support the fairies have received from local businesses and sponsors. There was a team of helpers comprised of local students and community volunteers, many wearing green T-Shirts, working the different games stations and helping things run smoothly.
