Dozens gathered at the Cégep de Sherbrooke yesterday to participate in a Women’s Day march from campus to the Parolière women’s centre on Belvèdere St. North. In addition to being a march in celebration of Women’s Day, the purpose of the event was also to deliver a $782.70 cheque to the centre, raised by two students from the Comité Femmes du Cégep.
