New COVID-19 cases remain low as the vaccination campaign continues and the province prepared to shift into green zone Monday, with health restrictions loosened.
The province reported 96 new cases in the last day. There are currently 1,164 active cases in Quebec. A total of 374,318 people have been infected with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic, and 361,952 are considered recovered.
Four new deaths were reported for a total of 11,202 deaths in the province. Hospitalizations decreased by 18 for a total of 143 and 38 patients are in intensive care, down two from the previous day.
Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the Estrie region (one in Sherbrooke, two in Haute-Yamaska), bringing the total number of active cases to 40.
No new deaths were reported locally.
