By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – The Champlain Lennoxville women’s soccer team won the provincial championships in the RSEQ second Division. They beat the Sainte-Foy Dynamiques 1-0 on Sunday, Nov. 4 in Quebec City. The Champlain Cougars have gone a long way in the last five years. After reaching an all-time low in 2013 with a goalless season, coaches Philippe Ribaux and Shane Kerrigan have worked hard with their players to improve skills and stamina, practicing up to four times a week.
