Move over tennis. There’s a new sport in town and it’s growing more popular every day: Pickleball. Despite (or perhaps thanks to?) its silly sounding name, you’ll be enchanted by this paddle sport that combines aspects of badminton, tennis and ping-pong, to create a game that is fun and accessible for players of all ages and skill levels. The game was invented in 1965, by Joel Pritchard, the former Lieutenant Governor of Washington. In recent years, the game has really begun to take off.
