The number of people in intensive care in the region remained unchanged compared to Wednesday, at three, and the region reported no new deaths.
With regard to vaccination, Quebec added another 32,210 doses to its figures on Thursday. The number is more than 10,000 higher than the number posted the day before, and is likely reflective of the fact that authorization for the additional booster was extended to those 70 and up. Anyone 60 and up will be able to make an appointment for an additional dose, if they wish to, as of Monday, April 11.
