The Desjardins-Windsor Wild saw the Warwick Inter-Clôtures Cougars score two third period goals to win 7-4 on Friday night.
Yannick Ethier, who has four goals so far this season, scored two in the third period to seal the win for the Cougars, much to the delight of their fans. He had scored one in the first period.
Gabriel Guillemette’s second goal of the game, his ninth of the season, gave the Cougars the win with his power play goal at 16:26 in the second period.
Alex Lessard (3rd) and Frédéric Lévis (2nd) scored the other goals for the winners.
Windsor was in the game for the first two periods with goals from Brandon Farrell (1st), Felix Meunier (7th and 8th) and Zachary Cadorette (2nd).
The Desjardins-Wild players directed 42 shots at Kevin Daigle while Sean Julien received 40 shots.
